It was like that, I was fast growing big: sweat, fatigue, pain in the legs… rewards of the 219.6 lbs I reached. “Oh, what will I do?!” I thought. Most my life I weight 176 lbs which was fine for me, copeing with the sudden extra 43,6 lbs was difficult.
I know this is not that much, but get a bag put 43,6 lbs of rocks in it and keep it on your shoulders for a whole day and you will quickly understand my feeling and sensations.
That does not belong to me! 🙂
My dear baby sister came to my help with the strange idea, something about drinking shakes, that that would help me out. She introduce me to Herbalife products. I am skeptical in general so I went on and read all I could about both the product and the CO.
I know all the pros and cons of the Herbalife business and products. I mean, I know what people are saying on the web. I heard the fans and the foes of Herbalife. Finally, I decided to try, not though before I read all I could about nutrition and diets in general too.
I came to the conclusion that it was not that much what I was eating that was making me grow fat, but what I was not eating and the bad habits. Brazilians, in general, have very poor breakfast habits. Sometimes we don´t even have it at all.
Time to change.
As everybody in this world I have to rush throw the days and fight to make a living. This meant, just a while ago, that many times my first meal would be lunch. Very bad, long hours without food. This was the problem. “You should not stay more then 3 hours without food during the day”, all diets said that.
With age our metabolism changes, it slows down. This also is written all over. This means you need less food. But it does not mean you need less minerals, vitamins and proteins. How can you manege all this factors? My solution was Herbalife shake once a day and tablets as recommended.
Modern life, modern way of nourishing yourself. That is simply the point. The rest is math. How can one consume all the necessary vitamins, minerals, fibers, proteins and still keep it at a low fat rate? Or better, in my case, how can I have the perfect breakfast and still not get even bigger?
The math, the regular breakfast we eat may have from 600 to 1000 calories and yet it maybe be very poor in terms of nourishing. The Shake has 210 to 300 calories, but 23 vitamins, mineral and protein, etc etc… So,yes, I can feed myself very well in the morning and not grow fat. It worked and is still working, every morning two teas and one shake.
But the effect is bigger then that. I started to loose weight, little by little as I expected. But remember, I read the fans and the foes. So I knew that many people got fat again very quickly after a Herbalife and many other diets. Sometimes worse than prior to the diet. So I went slow, slow is better, I had time to change habits also.
It worked, math is always right. Good nourishment every morning, colorful eating at lunch and light food at night – all intercalated with smaller meals like protein bars, fruits or even small shake shots sometimes – granted me the body condition I wanted. As my grandpa used to say the coils are the same for 220 or 170 lbs.
I feel great. Still I want to get from the 206.4 lbs I am now to 198 lbs which will be perfect for my built and age. It will take time, slowly is the best, I sure will get there. I am thankful to my sister, to Herbalife and to the people who took time to write on the subject.
By the way I decided to join Herbalife as an Independent Distributor. Making money out of getting thin is also of great help. 🙂
