911 ten years after

All over the world the impact of the September 11 attacks cause reactions and had effects we can sense even today. I saw the second tower being struck live on TV, if I did so did millions around the globe. How do they feel about it? Where are they now? Check the interviews bellow:

Rajen Nair is a friend from India.

Where were you when the September 11 attacks happened?
I was at home in Mumbai, India

What did you learn from September 11?
Nobody is safe.

What did you learn about yourself?
Well, Indian are victims of terror attack, especially Mumbai being financial hub of India it is prone to terror attack. Mumbai had seen many attacks and the most vicious one was the 26/11 attack and also recent one 13/7

What changes happened to your family?
We were shocked seeing the horrible and scary images beamed on the TV Channels. Not any changes in the family since we are used to terror attacks.

Did you substantially increase your volunteer time or your time with family?
Not really, like I said Mumbai went on as usual.

Have your stances on religion, Induism, Christianity and Islam changed?
Though I was born in Hindu family but I do not believe in religion, for me humanity is more bigger religion

Did your life change? Did you find a new calling in life?
No, like i said before we are used to terror attacks and it is the resilience of Mumbai citizen to fight back and lead a normal life

Did you lose someone close to you as a result of the attacks? If so, who? How did that affect you?

What is your hope for the next 10 years as a person and as an Indian citizen?
My hope is no terror attacks take place and there is lasting peace.
