stumbled upon art – BIA DORIA ART GALLERY

“Bia Doria Gallery, a modern cultural project created by her, represents the Brazilian contemporary art diversity, vigor and quality”.
(Above words from her website.)
Flores - Flowers
I was lost in Sao Paulo going to a business meeting, entered the gallery, just looking for directions.
Mandala e Olhos - Mandala and Eyes
While Ms. Andréa Kater kindly Googled the address for me I saw the the sculptures. As I travel quit often to Manaus – AM I was instantly drawn to the roots of BIA DORIA art.
Bailarina - Baillerina
I decided I wanted to share this with my friends.
Caração - Heart
I did not read from the artist website more than the first sentence of this post because I want to share my own impressions. If you pass your mouse over the pictures you will see the names I gave then, the names that simply – like in a psychological test – popped up in my haed.
Deusa - Godsess
I would like to have the opportunity to interview BIA DORIA… For the time being I hope you enjoy the pictures and visit her website.
Anfitrião - Host
Notes: 1 Google did not help, I had to ask some taxi drivers how to get to my meeting. “Simplicity” has a lot to tell us.
2 Pics taken with a cell phone.
